Our team is growing! Would you like to join a highly skilled, compassionate team of professionals who are passionate about supporting our clients, families and our communities? If so, Whole Journey provides W2 employment that allows you to make your own schedule.

Full-time employees at Whole Journey are required to complete 25 billable sessions a week, and the position includes a benefits package listed below that includes bonus pay.

Part-time employees at Whole Journey are required to complete a minimum of 15 billable sessions a week.

Licensed Therapist

Whole Journey Services is seeking a fully licensed clinician (Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, or Licensed Clinical Psychologist). We invite clinical providers with strong clinical skills, a commitment to providing a high level of care, compassion, and those that hold an attitude of optimism to consider joining our team. Candidates can be licensed in either Virginia or North Carolina. Clinicians have the option to either work remotely and/or in our office due to COVID-19.

Qualifications:
1. A minimum of 2 years experience providing outpatient clinical services to children and families
2. An active and unrestricted professional license in the state of Virginia

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
1. Training and experience in evidence based theoretical approaches and clinical interventions
2. Strong clinical writing skills and organizational skills
3. High level of professionalism with client and colleague engagement
4. Experience with electronic health record systems preferred

Licensed Child & Family Therapist

Whole Journey Services is seeking a fully licensed clinician (Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, or Licensed Clinical Psychologist) who is also certified in play therapy to join our private practice. Other specialized modalities within these service areas include: Art therapy, Child-Centered Play Therapy, Theraplay, trauma and attachment work. We invite clinical providers with strong clinical skills, a commitment to providing a high level of care, compassion, and those that hold an attitude of optimism to consider joining our team. Clinicians who are passionate about helping children and families, with the proper credentials are strongly encouraged to apply. Candidates can be licensed in either Virginia or North Carolina. Clinicians have the option to either work remotely and/or in our office due to COVID-19.

5. Knowledge of different models of play therapy, theories of play therapy, including integrative approaches
6. Understand theories of normal and abnormal child and play development
7. Knowledge and experience with working with parents/care-givers
