Licensed Therapist (LCSW, LCMHC, LMFT, LPC)

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Trauma-Informed Outpatient Therapist to join our dynamic team and help us continue our mission of supporting individuals on their journey toward healing and empowerment.

We invite fully licensed clinical providers with strong clinical skills, a commitment to providing a high level of care, compassion, and those that hold an attitude of optimism to consider joining our team.

Job Duties:

  • Provide counseling and psychotherapy
  • Complete progress notes and treatment plans in a timely manner (24 hours)
  • Participate in paid staff meetings and clinical supervision
  • Utilize a variety of tools to measure clinical outcomes for clientele

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individual therapy for clients experiencing a range of mental health challenges, including trauma, anxiety, depression, PTSD, mood disorders and relationship issues.
  • Utilize trauma-informed, culturally competent, and strength-based therapeutic approaches to support clients in their healing process.
  • Help clients navigate and heal from trauma, such as childhood abuse, intimate partner violence, community violence, racial trauma, discrimination, and more.
  • Create a safe, inclusive, and affirming environment where clients feel comfortable exploring their experiences, identities, and healing.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare providers and community organizations to support clients’ holistic needs.
  • Maintain confidential and accurate case notes, treatment plans, and progress documentation in accordance with ethical and legal standards.
  • Stay updated on the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy, culturally relevant therapeutic interventions, and mental health diagnoses.
  • Participate in ongoing training, supervision, and self-care practices to ensure the well-being of both clients and staff.

Qualifications:

  • Licensed Therapist with experience in trauma-informed care and working with diverse populations.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience providing therapy to individuals with a range of mental health diagnoses.
  • Strong commitment to providing ethical, inclusive, and affirming care for all clients, especially those from marginalized backgrounds.
  • Experience with trauma-focused interventions such as EMDR, CBT, DBT, IFT mindfulness, and other evidence-based practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong ability to build trust and rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.

Associate Therapist

At Whole Journey Services, we believe becoming an exceptional therapist is a journey rather than a destination.

We are seeking compassionate, motivated, and growth-oriented Residents in Counseling, Supervisees in Social Work and LCSWA’s to join our trauma-informed outpatient practice.

Associate level therapists work within The Clinical Journey Supervision & Consultation Program. They receive structured clinical supervision, trauma-informed training, and hands-on clinical experience while working toward licensure.

Job Duties

  • Provide individual counseling and psychotherapy services
  • Complete progress notes, treatment plans, and clinical documentation within 24 hours of service delivery
  • Participate in clinical supervision as required
  • Participate in staff meetings and professional development activities
  • Utilize outcome measures to support treatment planning and monitor client progress

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide outpatient therapy to clients experiencing concerns such as trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, PTSD, relationship challenges, and life transitions
  • Utilize trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and evidence-based treatment approaches
  • Develop individualized treatment plans and interventions
  • Create a safe, inclusive, and affirming therapeutic environment
  • Collaborate with referral sources, healthcare providers, and community partners when appropriate
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation
  • Demonstrate openness to feedback and commitment to ongoing professional growth
  • Engage in reflective practice and self-awareness as part of professional development

What We Are Looking For

Required

  • Eligible to provide outpatient psychotherapy services under supervision
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Professionalism, reliability, and attention to detail
  • Commitment to ethical and trauma-informed care
  • Willingness to receive and implement clinical feedback

Preferred

  • Experience working with trauma, anxiety, depression, or mood disorders
  • Experience with evidence-based treatment approaches such as CBT, DBT, IFS, EMDR, mindfulness-based approaches, or other trauma-informed interventions
  • Experience working with diverse populations
  • Interest in developing a clinical specialty area

Work Environment:
