Everyone has the potential to be the best that they can be if they believe in themselves and have a desire to prosper. I have a genuine passion to help my clients become successful and reach their highest potential. My professional background includes working with issues related to depression, anger, anxiety, behavioral problems, self-injurious behavior, coping with the stressors of life, life transitions, relationship tension, couples and marriage counseling, parenting issues, female empowerment, and life coaching to assist clients with self-discovery and fulfilling their purpose. My approach is grounded in the Cognitive Behavioral perspective in which I support how one’s thinking has a direct influence on behavior. My delivery is sincere with elements of self-examination, empowerment, and creativity. Each client, couple, and family will gain the courage to confront the obstacles and struggles in their lives and relationships to bring healing. Educationally, I received a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Morgan State University, a Master’s of Art in Clinical/Community Psychology from Norfolk State University, and I am currently obtaining a Master’s of Science in Marriage, Couples and Family Counseling at Walden University.
